BRASS HOUSINGS FOR STYLE AND SOUND

With solid brass housings, the Sony MDREX650 earphones look quite unlike rival designs. The solid construction also gives audio advantages, too. The density of brass makes it excellent at suppressing unwanted vibration, therefore ensuring a clean, distortion-free sound. In addition to the housings, brass is also used for the oversized inner ducts. At around 15% larger than usual, these ducts have been designed to improve treble clarity. For an optimised bass performance, the MDR-EX650 headphones use powerful 12mm neodymium drivers and sculptured air vents for bass accuracy and precision.

COMFORTABLE FIT

With an angled profile and small diameter plug, the Sony's fit comfortably and securely. Hybrid silicone buds use hard silicone on the outside for durability and softer silicone on the inside for comfort. Supplied with four different sizes of bud, it's easy to find a comfortable fit.
